Hipertansif yaşlıların hipertansiyon algıları ve kontrollerine ilişkin davranışları Öz: Amaç: Araştırma, hipertansif yaşlıların hipertansiyon algıları ile durumlarına ilişkin kontrole gitme davranışlarını ve etkileyen faktörleri tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Araştırma hipertansif hastayla yürütülmüştür. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan anket formuyla yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi hipertansiyonda davranış toplanmıştır.

İstatistiksel değerlendirmelerde yüzde, ortalama ve ki-kare testi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç: Yaşlıların büyük çoğunluğu hipertansiyonu tehlikeli olarak algılamalarına rağmen düzenli kontrole gitmemekte, yalnızca sağlık durumu kötüleştiğinde sağlık kuruluşuna gitmektedir.

Material and Methods: The study was descriptive and the population was 65 years old and older living in a city center in the Eastern Black Sea Region. Data were obtained in by questionnaire form prepared by researchers by face to face interview method.

The data were evaluated hipertansiyonda davranış percentage, mean and chi-square test. Results: The mean age of the participants was As the age of the patients increases the perception of hypertension is dangerous.

Conclusion: Although the majority of the elderly perceive hypertension as dangerous, they do not go to regular control and only go to the health facility when their health deteriorates.
